In the early morning hours of Friday, May 27, 2022, the life of Charles M. Edwards Sr., a 62-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Portland, Oregon. Officers from the North Precinct responded to a report of a deceased male at a residence in the 7100 block of North Columbia Boulevard in the St. Johns Neighborhood at 6:03 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Edwards' body inside the home.
