In the early morning hours of July 12, 2015, a fatal encounter in a Northeast Portland mobile home park claimed the life of 35-year-old Brandon Kaufman. The male victim died from a gunshot wound in what authorities believe was the escalation of a verbal argument. The incident unfolded around 12:29 a.m. near Northeast 72nd Avenue and Northeast Killingsworth Street.
