Who killed 27 year old Lonnie Gaston in 1997?
On May 20, 1997, 27-year-old Lonnie Gaston was fatally shot while standing outside his residence on NE 26th Avenue in Portland, Oregon. An older blue Ford sedan approached, and as Gaston attempted to flee, the driver—an African-American male described as heavyset, around 5'9", and with a mustache—opened fire, striking Gaston multiple times. He died at the scene.
