On April 12, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the East Columbia neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Alejandro Mondragon. The incident was reported around 12:32 p.m. near the intersection of North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North Gertz Road. When police arrived at the scene, they found Mondragon deceased.
