On the evening of September 11, 2020, Christopher M. Klein, a 30-year-old White/Caucasian male, was fatally shot in his vehicle at the intersection of East Burnside Street and 122nd Avenue in Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred in the Hazelwood neighborhood, where responding officers found witnesses attempting to provide aid to Klein, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
