On November 12, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Hillsboro, Oregon, resulting in the death of Erick Alcantar Vega, a 32-year-old resident of the area. The incident involved a fatal shooting that took place near Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Walnut in Hillsboro.
