In the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 20, 1969, a night of ordinary life in Parkersburg, West Virginia, was irrevocably shattered by an act of sudden and shocking violence. William Plant Jr., a 24-year-old man, was a patron at the Club Ada Bar & Tap on Sixth Street. What began as a typical evening out tragically became the final moments of his life.
