Joshua Boggess was a 25-year-old White/Caucasian male whose killing occurred near midnight on July 6, 2006, in downtown Charleston, West Virginia. Contemporary reporting described Boggess as a hardworking man who had been working at Chili's in the Charleston Town Center and was apparently making his way toward his vehicle after leaving work.
