On June 5, 2020, Stone Garrett Nolan, a 24-year-old man from Coalmont, Tennessee, tragically died from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The incident occurred at the residence of his father, Dale Nolan, on Ranger Creek Rd. When deputies from the Grundy County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene around 8:42 p.m., they found Stone Nolan in the living room floor with the fatal injury. According to the preliminary findings, Stone had been shot by his father, Dale Nolan, who is 56 years old.
