In the small community of Jarvisville, West Virginia, a summer evening turned tragic for 11-year-old William Owens. On the night of June 30, 2013, the young male was in his bed when a single gunshot pierced through the wall of his home, striking him in the chest. The shot proved to be fatal, ending the boy's life.
