On a March evening in 2015 in Follansbee, West Virginia, the life of Clifton Daniel Reintzel, a 53-year-old White / Caucasian male, came to a tragic and violent end. The events that unfolded on March 14th began with a desperate 911 call from his wife. She reported that Reintzel had choked her and was menacing her with a knife. She also conveyed to dispatchers that he was armed and had made threats to kill anyone who responded to their home, even alluding to the possibility of "suicide by cop."
