On April 27, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Nicholas County, West Virginia, resulting in the deaths of Ilene Blankenship and Douglas P. Hypes. The bodies of the two victims were discovered at a residence on Twin Oaks Drive in Summersville, West Virginia, around 5:10 p.m..

The investigation led by the West Virginia State Police identified Roger D. Blankenship Sr. as the suspect in the double fatal shooting. It was reported that Roger Blankenship was the individual who fired the fatal ...
