In the late summer of 2019, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded in the small city of Nitro, West Virginia, forever altering the lives of a young family. On August 14th, three-year-old Ryker Quehe, a White/Caucasian male, died from a gunshot wound. The event that led to this tragedy was a brief, yet catastrophic, lapse in firearm safety.
