On a tragic day in December of 2020, the community of Elkview, West Virginia, was shaken by a devastating event that claimed the lives of four individuals. Among them was Risa Mae Saunders, a 39-year-old White/Caucasian female, who was killed on December 13, 2020. Her life, along with those of her husband, Daniel Dale Long, 37, and two young boys, Gage Xavier Ripley, 12, and Jameson Aries Long, 3, was cut short in an act of gun violence.
