On a Friday afternoon in Charleston, West Virginia, the life of 20-year-old Nathaniel Spivey was tragically cut short. On December 18, 2020, police responded to a call around 2:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Wertz Avenue. There, they discovered the body of the young Black man lying in the road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders, including firefighters and police officers, attempted to perform lifesaving measures on Spivey, but their efforts were ultimately unsucces ...
