On August 12, 2022, Ty Christopher Hall, a 55-year-old resident of Kanawha City in Charleston, West Virginia, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred at Hall's home, where he was confronted by Kerry Wiley, a 64-year-old man from Belle, West Virginia.
