Lee Patrick Davis, a 38-year-old Black man from Charleston, West Virginia, was killed late on the night of February 26, 2021. At approximately 11:30 p.m., Charleston police were called to the 900 block of Woodward Drive after gunfire was reported in the North Charleston area. When officers arrived, they found Davis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His injuries were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
