On the evening of September 11, 2024, the life of Jyilek Zyiare Harrington, a 21-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Charleston, West Virginia. A senior and a linebacker for the West Virginia State University football team, Harrington was found inside an apartment on Regency Drive suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
