Jyilek Zyiare Harrington, a 21-year-old senior linebacker at West Virginia State University, was fatally shot on September 11, 2024, in Charleston, West Virginia. His body was found inside an apartment on Wednesday night following a disturbance that involved several gunshots fired in the hallway and inside the apartment. Police Lt.
