In a heroic act that ultimately cost him his life, 61-year-old Calvin Robinson was fatally wounded in downtown Detroit. The incident began in August 2013 when Robinson, a male, witnessed two young women being mugged on Jefferson Avenue near the Renaissance Center. Without hesitation, he got out of his vehicle to assist the women and began to pursue the individuals responsible.
