On April 1, 2023, 39-year-old DeAndre Fortson was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred around 6:21 p.m. at a residence in the 20150 block of Hartwell Street. Fortson was found deceased inside the side door of the home with a gunshot wound to his chest.
