In Des Moines, Iowa, a seventeen-year-old male named Ishmael Muhammad tragically lost his life on Saturday, May 23, 2020. The incident occurred in the afternoon, just before 3 p.m., at a residence located at 1128 17th Street, north of the city's downtown area. First responders from the Des Moines Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the home following a report of the shooting.
