Will, a 67-year-old White female, was found deceased in her home from a gunshot wound. The events that led to this grim discovery began to surface when she and her husband, Allen D. Will, 69, failed to appear for a planned event, prompting a welfare check at their residence on North Third Street.
On the afternoon of Saturday, January 9, 2021, Webster County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the Will's home. Inside, they found a heartbreaking scene. Both Karen and Allen Will were deceased. Investigators quickly determined that Karen Will had died from a gunshot wound, while Allen Will appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
