In the early morning hours of May 21, 2016, a violent home invasion in Salt Lake City, UT, claimed the life of Darrin Jackson, a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male. The incident unfolded at approximately 2:30 a.m. at a residence located at 1821 E. Hidden Meadows Drive. Jackson's son, Jonathan, answered a knock at the door, and several individuals forced their way inside.
