Mauricio Martinez, a 31-year-old Hispanic male, was found deceased on the morning of May 27, 2016, in a tragic turn of events that began with a robbery plot. Construction workers discovered his body in the passenger seat of a car parked at a Mountain America Credit Union in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. However, the investigation soon revealed that this was not the scene of the crime. The actual incident had unfolded earlier at a business parking lot located at 1032 S.
