On March 19, 2016, 28-year-old Jeffery Wayne Vail Jr. was fatally shot in Hartford, Connecticut. The incident occurred in the city's north end, where Vail and 33-year-old William Ward were found with gunshot wounds on Martin Street. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
