Travess Shaun Malone, a 22-year-old man, was last seen on May 1, 2001, while on a camping trip in Barstow, California, near the Saw Tooth Canyon area. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans, and a gray neck chain. Travess, who was 6'1" and weighed approximately 190 pounds, had brown hair and eyes, and was known to wear eyeglasses. He also had a previously broken right hand.
