On January 1, 2017, at approximately 4:00 a.m., 28-year-old Luz "Tita" Rosado was fatally shot while seated in a car on Park Street in Hartford, Connecticut. A Hartford patrol officer witnessed a man, later identified as 30-year-old Ulises Robles of West Hartford, approach the vehicle and fire a .22-caliber bullet into Rosado's chest. Despite immediate medical attention, Rosado was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
