On October 14, 2017, at approximately 12:38 a.m., Hartford police responded to reports of a shooting at 35 Whitmore Street. Upon arrival, officers found Allen Cox, a 25-year-old Hartford resident, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel treated Cox at the scene before transporting him to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
