Jamari was quickly transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
The investigation into Jamari's death revealed a connection to another shooting that had occurred just two hours earlier and less than a mile away, which claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy. While authorities confirmed the two incidents were linked, the specific nature of that connection has not been publicly detailed.
