In the evening hours of Tuesday, November 27, 2018, a tragic event unfolded on Laurel Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut, that claimed the life of 30-year-old Edwin Jeremy Gual, a male resident of the city. Gual was walking with another individual when he was fatally shot in the neck and torso. The incident, which marked the city's ninth homicide of the year, was not considered a random act of violence by law enforcement.
