On a Sunday evening in March of 2019, the life of 21-year-old Tyron Davon Heard of Stratford, Connecticut, a Black / African American male, was cut short in a barrage of gunfire. The fatal incident unfolded on Hollister Avenue in Bridgeport, where approximately 20 shots were fired into a parked car Heard occupied with two companions, aged 17 and 22.
