On a summer evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of a young Black/African American man, 21-year-old Tyler Ballew, was cut tragically short. It was Thursday, June 25, 2020, and Ballew was on Huntington Road with several friends. The group had reportedly gathered to shoot a rap music video when gunfire suddenly erupted in what authorities described as a drive-by shooting.
