On May 21, 2020, Roberto Rivera, a 34-year-old resident of New Haven, Connecticut, was fatally shot near the intersection of Lloyd and Wolcott streets in the Fair Haven neighborhood. Rivera sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
