On an evening in early August of 2020, the life of Chan Neil Williams-Bey Sr., a 49-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Hartford, Connecticut. A lifelong resident of the city, he was fatally shot on August 4, 2020. The incident occurred near the intersection of Norfolk and Kent Streets.
