On the evening of May 1, 2022, at approximately 8:03 p.m., Hartford police responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Park Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Javier Hernandez-Jiminian suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Hartford Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical but stable condition. Tragically, Hernandez-Jiminian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the morning of May 2, 2022.
