In the fading light of a Monday afternoon in November 2016, the life of 15-year-old Decorion Jones was irrevocably altered on the south side of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Responders discovered the young man with a gunshot wound, a stark and tragic scene that shattered the day's normalcy. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical staff fought to save him, but his injuries proved too severe. Decorion Jones, a male, passed away the following Tuesday.
