In the winter of 2016, a life was tragically cut short in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Pedro Omar Baez Esperanza, a 31-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound in the vicinity of 14th and Vine streets on a Tuesday afternoon in November. First responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them shortly after arrival. The incident was investigated by the North Little Rock Police Department as a homicide.
