On January 18, 2017, 18-year-old Zayana Coakley was fatally shot in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was discovered at a residence in the 2200 block of Boulevard Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. Individuals present at the scene claimed the shooting was accidental. The medical examiner initially ruled the death a homicide; however, after further investigation, the prosecuting attorney determined the shooting was accidental, and no criminal charges were filed.
