On July 30, 2024, 39-year-old Shina Holmes was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Eagle Hill Apartments, located at 6 Birdie Lane in southwest Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident occurred at approximately 1:59 p.m. when Southwest Patrol Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Shina Holmes suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of MEMS (Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services) to save her, Mrs. Holmes died at the scene.
