Upon their arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Shina Holmes, a female, suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response and life-saving efforts of medical personnel, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

a person of interest. Within a short period, her 42-year-old husband, Earnest Holmes, was identified as the suspect. He was located and taken into custody without incident. Following questioning by detectives, he was formally charged in connection with his wife's death.
