On January 16, 2023, Little Rock police responded to a call at 56 Epernay Circle, where a caller reported that his father and stepmother were dead downstairs. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Stacy Petty, 45, who had been shot, and the body of Nathan Petty, 45, who had apparently killed himself after shooting Stacy Petty.
