On January 25, 2020, 24-year-old Brittany Tate and her 21-year-old cousin, I'Quira Tate, were fatally shot at a residence on South Ringo Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., when an unidentified man entered the home and began shooting. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene, and I'Quira's two-year-old son sustained a gunshot wound but was later released from the hospital.
