In the early hours of Monday, May 19, 2025, the life of 44-year-old Nicole LaShae Lambert was tragically cut short in Little Rock, Arkansas. Just before 3:00 a.m., patrol officers from the 12th Street Division were dispatched to a residence at 4415 West 24th Street following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Lambert inside, suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services and rescue personnel promptly responded to the scene and
administered life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, Nicole Lambert succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives were notified and began their investigation, securing the area and canvassing for any potential witnesses or video surveillance that could shed light on the events that transpired. The Pulaski County Coroner's office later transported her body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
The investigation progressed swiftly, and later that same day, authorities made an arrest in connection with the homicide. Randy Lee Cunning, a 58-year-old resident of Little Rock, was taken into custody by law enforcement. He has since been charged with Capital Murder in the death of Nicole Lambert. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is ongoing.
