In the quiet woods near Skykomish, Washington, the life of a 34-year-old Caucasian male, Brandt Conrad Stewart, came to a tragic end on December 22, 2019. His body was discovered by a hiker the following morning along a desolate logging road. The King County Medical Examiner's Office would later determine that Stewart had been shot in the head, ruling his death a homicide. At the scene, there were no immediate signs of a struggle, but his wallet and backpack were missing.
