On September 15, 2021, 32-year-old Shunterris Salter and her 8-year-old son, JaMichael Petty, were tragically found deceased in their home on Nichols Road in Little Rock, Arkansas. The discovery was made by Salter's mother, who arrived at the residence after unsuccessful attempts to reach her daughter by phone. Upon arrival, she found both her daughter and grandson had been fatally shot.
