On a tragic Wednesday afternoon in Little Rock, Arkansas, the lives of 32-year-old Shunterris Salter and her young son were violently cut short. On September 15, 2021, law enforcement responded to a call of a shooting in progress and discovered the bodies of Salter and 8-year-old JaMichael Petty at a residence on Nichols Road. The grim discovery sent shockwaves through the community and left a family grappling with an unimaginable loss.
