A bright spring day at Boyle Park in Little Rock, Arkansas, turned into a scene of tragedy on March 13, 2021, with the death of 10-year-old JaAliyah Lene Hughes. A trip to the park for the young girl and her family ended in unimaginable heartbreak. While in the park, gunfire erupted, and JaAliyah was struck by a bullet. She was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
