In the late afternoon of Thursday, April 26, 2018, the tranquility of Saracen Landing in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was shattered by an act of violence. At the edge of Lake Pine Bluff, authorities discovered the body of 29-year-old Patrick McKenzie, a resident of Pine Bluff. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene around 5 p.m. The discovery launched an immediate investigation by the Pine Bluff Police Department into the apparent homicide.
