On April 26, 2018, the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to reports of a body in Lake Saracen, located on the south side of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased, later identified as 29-year-old Patrick McKenzie, a resident of Pine Bluff. Initial observations indicated that McKenzie had sustained gunshot wounds.
