On January 25, 2020, at approximately 1:38 a.m., 21-year-old I'Quira Tate and her cousin, 24-year-old Brittany Tate, were fatally shot in their residence on South Ringo Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. A man entered the home and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of both women. Additionally, I'Quira's two-year-old son sustained a gunshot wound but survived after receiving medical treatment.
