On May 9, 2020, at approximately 7 p.m., Little Rock police officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Ludwig Street. While en route, they received information about gunshots fired in the same area. Upon arrival, officers discovered 39-year-old Chesrick Martin suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Baptist Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
