On April 21, 2015, 26-year-old Cortez Ferrell was fatally shot in the parking lot near the Cracker Barrel restaurant on Shackleford Road in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he was employed. The incident occurred following an argument between Ferrell and 22-year-old Brandon Deon Moore, reportedly over Moore's girlfriend, who also worked at the same restaurant.
