In the early morning hours of November 9, 2019, tragedy struck in Little Rock, Arkansas, forever altering the lives of one family. Jeremy Dennis, a 27-year-old Black male, was discovered by patrolling police officers at approximately 2:15 a.m. at the Super Stop convenience store located at 5103 Asher Avenue. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and Dennis was quickly transported to a local hospital in a desperate
attempt to save his life. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Jeremy Dennis succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:40 a.m. His death marked the 38th homicide in the city of Little Rock for that year.
In the wake of the shooting, detectives began an investigation, interviewing several individuals who may have had information about the incident. They also sought to obtain surveillance footage from the gas station in the hopes of identifying who was responsible for the fatal shooting. However, these initial efforts did not yield any immediate suspect descriptions. To date, there have been no publicly identified suspects, and no arrests have been announced in connection with the death of Jeremy Dennis. The case remains an open investigation, leaving a family searching for answers and a community awaiting justice.
